Gamer Gate

I have been researching gamer gate and it is very confusing! All I know is it is about ethics in journalism somehow! Journalists should be ethical so I think I'm pro-Gamer Gate but a lot of people dont like them? I don't know why you wouldn't want journalists to be ethical though? Maybe you can tell me why journalists shouldn't be ethical and I should not support this gate.  Thanks!

John Stewart

I can't believe John Stewart is retiring! He was a big comic influence on me! I hope you can tell! Even though his show wasn't as good without Amy Poehler sitting beside him it was still pretty good! I hope his replacement is just as funny! Guess I'll have to tune in on Saturday to find out!

Lions! (and Tigers and Bears!)

Ok, that post title was just a bit of fun! There are no tigers and bears in this post! A guy killed a lion and people are upset! But lions also kill lots of other animals and are scary, so I don't think I'm that upset about it! Though this lion had a name, so maybe he was a good lion like the cowerdly lion? I'm not afraid of him, he's funny! I hope this lion wasn't funny. Or maybe I do! Less competiton for me! I bet people would love his cartoons!

Scarecrows are hard to draw, but I like the tin man. I think he turned out OK!

Chickens!

Someone called me a cuckservative the other day! I don't know what it means! It made me think of "cluckservative" though, which I thought was funny. Why isn't that the expression? That one actually makes sense! Maybe it was just a typo? Here's the comic, let me know what you think!

The news has been full of people's private lives being revealed recently! Hackers have stolen everything from Ashley Madison! Poor Ashley! Maybe she'll get free credit monitoring? That happened to me when my JC Penny account was compromised! Then Gawker revealed another guys private info! People got really mad about that one! I hope no one tries to unmask Good Cartoon Man! I'm a very private person, so here is my plea to the hackers!

John McCain

People are mad at Donald Trump because he said John McCain isn't war hero. But I think Donald Trump is right! Getting captured is not the point of war! The Spartan's had a saying "Come back with your shield or on it!" (If you were on your sheild that meant you were dead!) Well John McCain didn't come back with his plane and he is still alive! Not great fighting Senator! Also did you know he stayed in a Hilton in Hanoi? I only stayed in a Holiday Inn on my trip. Holiday Inns are not as nice as Hiltons! Maybe I should be a POW!

On the Road

I am taking a short trip so I might not get to post many cartoons for a few days! I know you are all sad, but I'll be back soon! Hopefully nothing funny happens while I'm gone!

Hard day

Yesterday was a hard day for Good Cartoon Man! I didn't even have time to make a cartoon! I made a quick one today though! I think today will be better! I hope your day is better than yesterday too!

Planned Parenthood

Good Cartoon Man is not dumb! There will be no cartoon about this!

Iran Deal

We've agreed to let Iran have nuclear weapons now! That seems like a really bad idea! I can't support the president on this one!! I'm not sure what they were thinking?

It was really hard to write the word Iran sideways like that but I think I did an OK job. I'll have to practice drawing like that!

Did you know that rapper Fifty Cent was bankrupt? I don't really know who he is, but as soon as I heard his name I new it would make a funny cartoon! I don't think I was wrong!

Climate Change

It's been really raining here lately! But I'm pretty confident that we'll get to see the sun again. The Earth is really big and we're pretty tiny. It seems unlikely we could be more important than the sun when it comes to global warming! Did you know 1,300,000 Earth could fit in the Sun? The Sun is really big! And hot, but not as hot as lightening! 

Things are looking up!

There's a lot of bad things happening in the world today! The Middle East is in chaos, Greek is losing money, and Russia is invading everyone it looks at! But just think about how much worse things could be! There's so much that could go wrong that isn't, so that's pretty great right? Always look on the bright side, I always say!

Gun Control

Guns are a contentious issue! Some people really like them! And some people really don't! But I think the important thing is not killing people. We shouldn't focus so much on the guns, but on the killing! Don't kill people! Take your bro to a gun place and shoot targets instead! I bet it's fun. Maybe my bros will take me some time!

I made sure to add ear projection for when they were shooting guns. You know what they say: Safety first!

Immigration

Immigration is a real hot button issue! But I don't think it should be. Maybe your like the person in this cartoon. If so I hope it makes you think! Immigrants are very good to have and contribute a lot! Maybe you don't like tacos as much as I do but immigrants also have brought us things like sausages! Did you know Germans were immigrants? This is my first cartoon with more than one picture! I'm learning lots of helpful techniques!

Donald Trump

I'm pretty excited about the presidential election coming up! I think either Jeb Bush or Hilary Clinton would be great choices, since they both come from presidential families. It's important to have that experience I think! But the person I'm really excited about is Donald Trump. He's not afraid to tell it like he sees it! So I made this cartoon for when he wins the election. I hope he likes it!

UPDATE: This isn't getting very many votes. But that's OK! When Charlie Brown first wrote Peanuts I bet it wasn't that popular at first either! But then it became a sensation! I'll get there too!

Someone told me that I should include links to the news I'm drawing cartoons about. I guess not everyone can be as informed as me! I think my cartoons stand up pretty well on their own though! I put in all the important information you'd find in a story, that's for sure! Anyways, maybe it's just me so I've made a poll for my readers to vote to see if I should add a news link! Here it is! Internet Shutdown

The NYSE and United both had to shut down today because of server issues! That's pretty unlikely don't you think? I made a funny cartoon about it. I accidentally drew Delta instead of United, but it would take me too long to fix and I think it holds up anyway! Cartooning can be hard work sometimes!

Amy Schumer

I think Amy Schumer is very funny, so I was sad to find out she's actually really racist. Can you believe this quote!?

It's not one of her better jokes, that's for sure. Don't kill people because they are different! It's our differences that make life really pretty cool when you think about it!

Subway Jared

The Jared Subway guy thing really has me bummed out. It's no laughing matter so I drew a cartoon that exposes the seriousness of it all. Hopefully it makes you think.

Data Mine

I heard the term data mine the other day and thought it would make a good cartoon. I think it turned out great!
